Stranger Things Wins Best Ensemble SAG Award

The cast of Stranger Things took home the award for “Best Ensemble” at the SAG awards. Pictured about are the youngest members of the cast holding their awards: Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schapp and Caleb McLaughlin.

The kiddie cast of “Stranger Things” continued to be the fascination of Hollywood on Sunday after the show won a SAG Award for best ensemble — beating out “The Crown” and “Game of Thrones.”

Could ‘Stranger Things’ Have Influenced Baby Names in 2016?

Goodhousekeeping recently published a list of the most popular baby names for 2016. The list from BabyCenter indicated that Stranger Things may have influenced parents when naming their children.

Though you might not see them in the top 100, pop culture made some unique names surge in popularity this year. Netflix’s Stranger Things gave Nancy a 46% increase, while other characters from the summer’s runaway hit like Dustin (up 32 %) and Lucas (up 25%) got a big boost too.

I think I’m going to name my goldfish Eleven.
